I can’t recommend Gemma enough for puppy/dog training. Her classes are extremely informative and engaging to help understand how and why to train with positive reinforcement. She explains your dogs natural behaviours and instincts and how to use these to train your dog in an enjoyable way. Gemma is there to help with any issues or questions you may have and we can’t wait to start our next block of classes to progress Betsy’s training further.

Where do we start? Gemma has helped us resolve multiple issues with our three dogs. One of our dogs is a rescue from abroad. He was very nervous and didn’t seem to like people or other dogs, which made us hesitant to let him off-lead to play/ meet other dogs. The one-on-one lessons with Gemma were fantastic. During the sessions, gemma discovered that he had some slight issues with his back end, which we had never noticed before. Gemma was able to identify these problems based on his behavior. The second dog was fully toilet trained but had been eliminating at night. We found that he felt more comfortable being crated at night, which has resolved the issue of him destroying the kitchen. Additionally, pulling on the lead had always been a challenge. Some may think this is a simple fix, but being a Whippet, we’ve managed to redirect his frustration by encouraging him to become a sniffing dog instead. We are finally on track to been able to walk all 3 dogs comfortably. I would high recommend Gemma to anybody needing training or proble-solving.

Winnie and I have just completed the 7-week puppy training course. Gemma was clear and helpful, and I now have the skills to continue the training. It was a great, friendly atmosphere, and I would recommend Gemma.

We did puppy class with Gemma. The class was always organised and set up for success, and Gemma herself was lovely. She encouraged plenty of positive reinforcement and played to all of the dogs' strengths. Highly recommend. Included a photo of my puppy just for anyone seeing this :)

Highly recommended Gemma. We took our Cockapoo puppy to puppy classes with her and both us and our puppy came away from it learning so much. She’s so knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining why puppy’s/dogs behave the way they do. We can’t wait to do some more classes with her!

Gemma came to see me to work out a problem with my pup which with work was resolved and I had also signed up to the puppy classes. When Gemma told me what we would achieve, I must admit I was a tiny bit skeptical as Florence is a bouncy dog. Seven weeks later Gemma proved me wrong. She gave us both the tools to do so much and I am delighted with Florence's progress and looking forward to the next classes to continue her training. If you are looking for a trainer, you can do no better. She has so much knowledge, empathy and the online guides and tips are videos are so helpful. I cannot thank her enough.

We recently completed the 7 week Puppy Class with our 5 month old Golden Retriever, Harvey. We found the class really informative and fun and felt it really gave us the tools to get started with our new puppy. Gemma is super knowledgable and friendly! Would highly recommend

Absolute perfect behaviourist for our rescue westieXfrenchbulldog who had so many issues and returns she was due for PTS if returned again. Came to us, we got Gemma in, and as early as one week noticed a difference. Continued with Gemmas plan for us and 2months later we have an almost perfect dog, recall, housetrained, obeys commands. I honestly cannot recommend Gemma enough. I attended her puppy classes with my spaniel and it was such a great experience from start to finish. Gemma is so knowledgeable and explains things in a common sense way. I have since had 1:1 sessions as my dog had started showing anxiety around unknown dogs on our walks. I only needed a few sessions in which Gemma gave me the tools and knowledge to help my dog and we now have enjoyable stress free walks. Believe the hype……Gemma is fabulous!
